I think you both need to put away your technology toys and talk, express your frustrations and emphasize the importance of this to your husband.

Maybe he thinks you are more interested in being online and rather than tell you that, he hides behind his X-Box. I am suggesting one night with no X-Box, no computer and some important conversation. And again, stress the necessity of this discussion with your husband and be smart about selecting a time to have this happen. Example: do not throw it down as soon as he walks through the door, do not try and talk if he is reading a newspaper, watching the football or doing any activity that could be a distraction.

Stay calm, state your case, do not judge. Good luck!

Most likely, you and your husband work hard during the day and need to destress at night. He chooses to relax by playing video games, you like the PC. Couples don't have to be together all the time, but you do need to strike a balance. You are feeling ignored and the resentment is growing. Before you blow your top, tell your husband at dinner that you understand his need to unwind with the xbox, but you would like to make a compromise. Then decide what works for the two of you. 2 hours/xbox and PC and 1 hour cuddling on the couch watching TV together. Whatever.

If he can't bring himself to leave the xbox, then tell him that you heard that chat rooms are great for meeting people who will share their day with someone as interesting as you.

Seriously, don't demand that he stop the xbox, just tell him that you love him and miss him and are afraid that you are growing apart and that you want to come to a compromise that works for both of you. Good luck!
