Hw do i remove WMP from my windows vista?

I wnt winamp to be my default player only. I dont like the WMP 11.

i did change all the settings 2 for the music and video files, but WMP still shows up.

You can't remove WMP from Vista if you're in North America. However, if you install Winamp, you should be able to make it the default player for any file types it supports.

Don't remove it, just change the options in Winamp so that it is associated with all music files and change the options in Windows so that WMP is not the default player.
