Is there anyway to make this letter better? please revise it for me. thank you

Dear Ms. Lawson (David’s teacher) and Ms. Rosa (Amy’s teacher),

Hi, I’m sorry, but we are going to china in a few days. The reason why we’re going to china is because our grandma had died just a few days before. We are really sad about that, so we need to go back to china and join my grandma’s funeral. So I’m asking for your permission to go to china.

Sincerely, David and Amy

Dear (teacher's name),

My child will will be unable to attend school for (date range) as we have had a tragedy in our family and must go to China for a funeral. Please send all assignments and homework for (dates) and we will have the child do it while we are out of the country. I thank you for for your cooperation in this and my family thanks you for your sensitivity in this time of grieving.

Sincerely.

Ok, they are your children and you don't need permission to take them anywhere. You are not asking for permission, you are informing them that the children will be attending a family gathering and will return when the business is finished. Also, since you don't want the kids to get behind in their studies, the teachers should be more willing to give you the school work and let you supervise their studies.

Teachers are human and are very understanding of this sort of thing. There are preperation that have already been made in case this happens and so you won't be causing any undue distress. So, just let them know and go an collect the kids schoolwork. And don't be afraid to just go in and explain it to the people in the child's office. Only a real jerk would deny you this, for any reason. You are greiving and the human thing would be to help you however possible.

And I am very sorry for your loss, I wish you and your family comfort.

It would be more professional if you wrote

Sincerely,
david and Amy.

You don't need to ask permission. Simply inform them you will be gone. Example:

"We will be leaving for a trip to China from (date) to (date) in order to attend the funeral of our grandmother. We will be returning to class on (date).

Sincerely,
David and Amy (last name)

Dear (teacher's name) Please excuse David and Rosa from class for 7 days as we will be out of the country to attend a funeral in China.

If you will provide me a list of their homework, I assure you they will turn in any homework missed while we are away.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

I was once for your function however I manned up, grew a couple and labored in the direction of making my existence higher. But hi there, it is your existence, and you've got the selection to finish it as you desire. I do not consider you must finish it, however when you decide upon so simply recognize what's at stake.
