What do you think of Christianity and why?

this seems like it could get ugly, so I'll say this now: don't judge all the people in such a huge group just from the few you know- stereotyping is a dangerous thing
not every Christian is the same!

I can only say that I am very disturbed by the level of ignorance displayed by Christians who post on this site. Most of them sound like complete imbeciles.
I know not all Christians are like that but the voices of intelligent liberal Christians are being drowned by the nutjobs.

I think Christianity without the Spirit of Christ can bring you down to Hell.
I think Jesus Christ is the glorious and beautiful Son of God, come down from heaven, lived a perfect sinless life, died on a cross for my sins, was raised from the dead by God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for me and all true believers, who will one day transform my body, either by rapture or resurrection, to be transformed into the likeness of His glorious resurrected body - so shall I ever be with the Lord.

I honestly think it's a waste of time.
My mother wasted my time with it for a while, but I am now free of the constant ridicule.

it's fine for those who believe in it and are content to let others find their own spiritual path, but i believe it was fabricated. all religions are fabricated on some level. gods don't actually use prophets to take dictation, so there is no 'word of god'.
