Things die, despite evolution, because evolution is the concept of change between generations of a species. If individual members of a given species did not die, then evolution would cease as to that species, because the individual members would never change at the genetic level.
1. True.
2. Not a question, but misleading as a declarative statement.
3. Somewhat true: Sciences is our best attempt at understanding all which is around us.
4. Not a question, but I don't necessarily agree. We use science to develop technology to manipulate life's patterns, such as medical science.
5. False. We can resuscitate a person that would otherwise die with the use of technology, amongst numerous other examples.
6. False. Science pre-existed bibles. We had to understand how paper is made before we could write on it about this guy that was nailed to the cross.
7. False, and completely backwards logic. If the Bible's statements also include any inverse statements so that the Bible means everything, then it actually means nothing.
8. Your statement doesn't make much sense, but I am inclined to agree that it must be true, if you believe in such a "gap."

1. Yes
2. Yes, but not like all the devout wanting the end of times which would make death happen, if it were true...NOT!
3. More. You should really study what you claim to know.
4. No. It keeps on becoming more. You live longer because of science. You have antibiotics because of science.
5. False. It proves life it does not defy it a supernatural force.
6. Science does not exist through the context of the bible. Science does not care about a bible or any gods.
7. Many things have proven the bible wrong including itself.
8. Not worth answering - it is foolish Satan really...I thought god does it all.

Things die due to natural process. You will die too! It is a natural process in life.

1. Evolution will end, when the universe ends. Evolution is not carried out through one organism but through entire species and worlds.
2. Evolution is progress and adaptation. The survival of the fittest those who better adapted will be able to survive to reproduce and pass on their traits.
3. The study of science in the understanding of the world around you. Science defines the world.
4. The laws of nature, physics, etc. that we must all abide by are scientific.
5. False, technology changes people routines and how they live their lives, making them more convinient and improves the quality of life in most cases.
6. No. Science is the study of fact. The Bible is a book of stories and mythologies.
7. The Bible proves itself wrong in some cases. It is a paradoxical book. Some of its stories are impossible and some parts of the Bible contradict each other.
8. The Bible as well as other religions were made because people did not understand what was going on in the world around them. Science has been educating people about the mysteries of the world so religion is needed less and less to explain things. Will science ever prove everything, no, but the Bible was written by people who did not know much about of their surroundings and their beliefs are often outdated.

Oh boy.
1. As far as we know, this is probably true. (Incidentally, this would apply to any gods that existed too, but let's not get sidetracked here).
2. Nooo, I wouldn't say evolution is growth. Evolution is change - thus the "direction", if it can be said to have one, is to some form of survival.
3. No - wisdom is understanding all that is around you. Science is a pickaxe with which we chip away at the mystery of the universe and turn it into explicable, logical fact.
4. Seriously insecure ground, this. It could be said that the scientific advances of man - say in the field of food production and processing - have had a direct effect on thousands of lifeforms. We chop down huge areas of rainforest with the tools that science has given us, and entire creatures become extinct as a result, for example. Our scientific intervention can change breeding grounds, migration patterns etc - giving animals new challenges to adapt - or evolve - in order to meet.
5. Palpably false. There are whole branches of technology and science dedicated to doing precisely this. Vaccines are a product of science - they change the pattern that life woul otherwise assume by killing off things that would otherwise kill us. And that's before we get into the business of stem cells and chemotherapy.
6. OK, this is where you truly lose me. Science doesn't owe its existence to the BIble. There were pre-Biblical societies of immense scientific and spiritual sophistication (eg the Beaker People who bilt Stonehenge). Science doesn't need to "prove the Bible wrong". The burden of proof is on each explanation of things to prove itself right. Just personally, I think science is winning.
7. Ah, yes, the theory of the multi-dimensional Bible, that means things in many different directions all at once, including entirely contradictory directions. It's an attractive theory, I admit, but only if you apply the scientific theory of dimensions to it. Otherwise, saying contradictory things at the same time just makes it sound confused.
8. Surely this is entirely subjective. You may find a "gap" when you don't live according to the Bible. Others live within different frameworks that are equally valid, and do not feel the void that a lack of a Biblical element in life would bring to you.

Oh and to answer your main question, things die because evolution isn't a plan that goes from A-Z. It's entirely reactive to circumstances. Things evolve to meet environmental challenges or to gain environmental advantages. If something overtakes their ability to evolve, they die out. Volcanoes, ice ages, climatic upheaval, superpredators like man - all sorts of things can overtake the natural process of evolution. Evolution doesn't have a purpose, so it's accountable to nobody.

1. Incorrect.
2. Hasn't read Origin of Species or missed the point entirely.
3. False: It's the attempt to provide a workable model of things around us.
4. False. Unless 'technology' is including medicine, the arts, society, culture, morality, etc.
5. False. Care to guess your life expectancy 100 years ago? 200?
6. False, and broken logic to boot. If the bible didn't exist, physics (for example) would. It's a book, not a fundamental particle.
7. The Bible has proved the Bible wrong itself; it has dozens of self-contradictory statements throughout the old and new testaments. I don't think we need to finish this sentence, even if it made sense.
8. The gap's already there and widening; denial will only keep you going so long.

As they say, your argument was both original and good. Sadly, the good parts weren't original, and the original parts weren't any good.

6. False. Humans were studying science before Christianity and the Bible existed.
7. What?

lol, i like the taste of this righteousness.

Angel of Fire, might i ask why it is so important to disprove anything at all?

To all the people claiming Angel of Fire is illogical or 'un-educated', you should realise you're subconciously calling yourselves scientists.

Of course, it would seem apparent you are not viewing the points made in an abstract concept.

Please do - Accuracy isn't the key point here.

infact, just for fun - i'm going to dissect those points MY way;

1: True, unless our perception of time is irrevocably flawed.

2: True, unless our perception of Death is irrevocably flawed.

3: True, unless the individual's perception of science is irrevocably flawed.

4: Not True, but possible.

5: Not true.

6: Irrelevant.

7: Irrelevant, but this is what i found so appetising.

8: The understanding of this question is specific only to you, Angel of Fire - i think you may be speaking of Void*, but it's likely that i'm wrong.

P.s; Nowhere in this post did i claim to be a scientist, btw.

*Void; The true negative of clarity.

Dying is part of our evolutionary attributes, genes have a better chance at survival if they are constantly replicated , since this encourages adaptation (when it comes down to it, the whole point of life is so our genes survive and replicate).
If we lived forever, we would either reproduce in very little numbers, so we wouldn't change and adapt, and therefore we as a species would have less chance of survival; also if in this condition if we reproduced too much, the planet would become crowded and we would eventually die of the resulting miserable conditions anyway.
Also, it is a way of replenishing the nutrients in the soil, alowing future life. Death makes perfect sense.

Evolution is change over time, not growth.
Science is about understanding and explaining nature, true.
Technology is the result of science. If you don't think science has affected your life, you must never visit a doctor.
Technology doesn't "change life's pattern?" You really need to visit a hospital some time.
The Bible has nothing to do with science. Science seeks to understand nature, not disprove the Bible.
I have read the Bible several times. It proves itself wrong.

Your lack of understanding would be cute if it wasn't so tragic.

I agree with the first response. Also, Science proved that the Earth is not flat and that's in Genesis so your number 7 is false.
