I purchased a wedding gown for my daughter and she found a different dress that she liked. So we purchased that dress and now I have a brand new dress that I want to sell and I am having a hard time narrowing down a shop that will purchase s item in question. If I could narrow down a consignment shop(s) that specializes in this type of item for resale I would gladly appreciate it.

you should just call around and ask them.
if they won't take it bcse the tag is on it just yank the tag off and try again for them to take it.
or better yet. just yank the tag off and be done with it

we have several 2nd hand formal shops in the area and i know they have every size under the sun available.

but i would list on craigslist first.

i think of sixteen is fantastically lots the conventional snapping factor between "common" and "plus" sizes. And in case you're around this length don't be alarmed once you attempt on clothing and are instructed some insane length #. In shops I positioned on the two a 14 or sixteen (i'm very busty so how the appropriate is decrease makes the adaptation in length for me). when I went wedding ceremony gown identifying to purchase i became a minimum of a 20 in each clothier i attempted (a 22 and 24 in some even!!).

You would probably get more on ebay -- just remember to take pictures and also describe it very accurately.
