Would you steal from, let's say a doctor, who has completed multiple years of medical school, works in a profession that in general, helps people, and is now reaping the benefits of his or her hard work with a hefty salary to give to some broke a$s pothead who can't hold a job, just because the doctor is a rich and the pothead is poor? Now I know there are some people who are rich who have done nothing to deserve there wealth, and there are poor people who have genuinely fallen on bad circumstances, but the whole idea of stealing from the rich and redistributing it to the poor is just wrong, and the whole idea that those who are rich are only rich because have they exploited the poor, is terribly flawed.

Why are the rich rich and why are the poor poor? If your father worked, and you worked and you have $100 and your neighbor and his family have never worked and have $0- should it be fair to steal $50 from you so that life could be fair and equal? Simple example, I know, but the theory is sound. It isn't fair to steal someone else's earnings.

Its still stealing...the taking of something that doesn't belong to you. The bible very clearly states that this is wrong...it does NOT differentiate between acceptable and non-acceptable stealing. Theft is theft.

Stealing from anyone is wrong, period. To add to that, communism doesn't work either.

If the rich worked for the things they have, what gives you the right to take what is theirs and give it to someone that perhaps hasn't bothered with working?
