For the same reason not everyone is making a fortune in the real estate market and being independently wealthy as a result - it's too much work!
I understand the point you are attempting to make, and I applaud your efforts, but realistically speaking, if it were really that easy, everyone probably would do it. Those things worth having do not come easy. You get bombarded with that message in movies, books, television shows - remember Rocky? He didn't win until Rocky II, life has sequel after sequel, and no one person can control the world, otherwise we'd be slaves, we are not predisposition-ed to be that way. The truth is only revealed to those who seek it, and no one interpretation is going to serve the masses.
