Will my PS2's component cables work with my PS3?

I owned a PS2 and had the Monster cable component cables. Is the playstation side of the cable same for the PS2 and the PS3? will I be able to use this cable for a PS3?

Yes, the PS2 composite, RF, and component cable will work with the PS3.
