Not necessarily. We're doing a mock Galileo trial in my history class right now. So it's basically science vs. religion. Galileo's point is that the Bible can be interpreted in many different ways, not just literally, like the Church then only accepted. So science doesn't necessarily contradict the Bible in my opinion.
But if you're not talking about the science aspect of the universe, just the people that make up the universe, I wouldn't say that the whole universe is against God. About 1/3 of the population of the entire world is Christian, so they believe in God. Obviously then there are still 2/3 that may or may not belive in God(s) or are undecided, etc.
So since this is just my opinion, I would definately say the the whole universe is not against God. Some people are though. Science can be if you take parts of the Bible literally, however I believe that the Bible is open to interpretation, so science generally does not contradict God...Good question!

OK so we all understand God created all living things , this includes the universe ,He is the all knowing and I am sure he could destroy all of it in a blink of an eye, we are all here to learn from our experiences and to choose what we want more.' love and peace or hate and turmoil ', it is up to us what side we go to and God created the devil as well so he has control over all things time and space, we all learn from different religions which all lead to the same God ....just because he is mentioned in different names does not mean we all have different Gods there is only one . each of us can bicker whom is right or wrong but in reality we are all here to learn to get along help each other and treat each other equally with love and kindness. and to love and serve God

GOD created the universe and everything therein. The universe is not against GOD it's the devil and he loves to manipulate humans into saying otherwise. HE IS.
