Please help?

I am 28 week prgnant and for the last couple of days I have been getting server pain in my lower abdomen. The pains became so intense the other night that I went to hospital to get checked out. They thought I might have a water infection but gave me no medication. This pain only really comes at night but effect my tummy goes into my hips and sometimes goes into my leg. Does anyone else have this? do you know if it could be the baby laying accross my muscles? Please help I am only 17 and it is a little frightening
