Living with an addict who is full-on into his addiction is difficult to say the least.
I too have lived with addiction in my family, & it took me years to discover that the only person that I can EVER take full responsibility for is ME!

Your father probably has relapsed, & so he may need to return to re-hab. Re-lapsing sometimes is part of the overall recovery for the addict. But instead of staying silent about it, & trying to carry on as usual is possibly the very worst thing your family should do.
If your father has relapsed, then he needs to be told to get back into treatment & off his habit, or GET OUT!

As long as you & your family tolerates his addiction, the more likely it will be that he will stay off his recovery.

The rehab centre that my family member attended has recovery councellors available for those who went through one of their programmes. I am sure that it is the same where your father went, so have him call his recovery councellor, & if he won't then YOU call them, & see what their advice will be.

All the best!

Yes, if he's relapsing he should go back to an inpatient rehab program. Relapse is normal, and it's best to address it now rather than once it gets progressively worse.

I've been sober for almost a year now after relapsing pretty bad twice. Check out http://www.newportcoastrecovery.com it worked out pretty well for me.
