I meet a guy over the weekend last saturday at a club.
He approached me we talked. We hit it off. danced,
My one male friend that was out partying with us. Approached the guy that asked me out, and pretty much gave him a playful hard time. he gave him the "this is my best friend... be nice to her or ill hurt you" speech. Both boys laughed at it.
I found it great that he continued to talk to me even though my overly muscled friend gave him the third degree. Most guys dont. At the end of the night we swapped numbers.
He called me the next day(sunday), and the day after that. and on wednesday asked me out, for a coffee on thursday(today)
So today. I get a phone call from him today.
"telling me he wants to be straight with me, and has BUNCH of family drama happening, and has to deal with it. and will call me in a few days to re-schedule..."
IS buddy full of crap? Do guys actually take girls seriously that they pick up in a club?

I think he's taking you seriously, otherwise he'd not've stayed with you after your friend giving him the third degree, and wouldnt've called you numerous times?

I know I'm a girl, but I would say that you should wait a few days and see if he does call. Everything you said sounds like he was being genuine, and like he really does like you. If guys have family drama going on, then they like to 'protect' you from it, particularly as someone he's just met, so he might not be comfortable talking about family stuff with you just yet. Give it a few days, if he calls, great. If not, perhaps you should give him a ring, or maybe send a text message or something, just casual, asking how he's doing...

I dont get what youre asking?
Is he being honest with you?
Maybe if he doesnt want you to get invested in him emotionally with all this stuff going on in his life. Most the girls who go to clubs think they'll meet their prince charming there and get used dumped and recycled, so yeah most girls take the guy seriously and some of the guys who are not players take the girls seriously.

What are you talking about? You give up too easy. He stepped to you, passed the bully test, and, called you more that once?! Did you ever stop to think that he was being honest, and instead of blowing you off he was respectful enough to tell you what was going on and to reschedule?

Come on!

Give the guy a chance. Give him some time to TCB and let him get back to you.

Feel me?
