I have large areolas and want to get cosmetic surgery to have them reduced to a normal size. Is there any way I can get insurance to cover some of the cost?

No. They wouldn't cover that procedure for women either - cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.

Male breast reductions can be covered when certain medical necessity criteria is met, but you aren't going to get coverage just because you don't like the way your areola looks.

Start saving if you really want to have this procedure done.

Health insurance doesn't cover cosmetic surgery. Sorry, but this one you're going to have to pay out of your own pocket.

If you desire the dimensions of your nipples decreased there's a very top hazard you'll no longer be competent to breastfeed any youngsters you may have one day. The surgeons do do away with the surplus epidermis, however you'll be left with scars from the nipple to the backside of the breast and alongside the crease wherein the backside of your breasts meets your rib-cage (an anchor form scar).
