well first off i feel you man i swear . you are trying to stay fit.
well i am trying to enter metrx world strong man , the training is grueling and very hard for me .
sometimes i feel as though i just want to give up and not do it , i think that ill never make it .
though what keeps me going is the thought of my self not being as atractive to my girl , and the thought of being struck with heart problems and physical restraints.
do you want to live life as a fat guy whos idea of physical training is walking up to the upstairs bed room .
go out side and look around you seek the unfit and study how misserable they are ,
let thoose around you who truely care about you inspire you .
do it for your girl your family and most iportant do it for you .
note : due to my medical knowlegde a sudden decrease from physical activity in physicaly active people can cause depression so hit thoose wieghts!

Hey well done! Keep on exercising, ull feel dead if u dont.
Im a similar case as u:
my dad have always been putting into my mind that exercising is bad for ur health. And he may have a point in extreme cases, but when i finally realiced he was wrong, and started running, i became aware of how much better i felt.
The problem is that before trying to exercise, i always beliebed i was 'not made' for exercise. I was always tired, cold and bored. But since i started my routine joggyn around i feel so much more active and positive, i feel alive!
Also, i can still eat all i want and not increase a gram. If u stop exercising now, ull still eat the same amount ur used to eat when u was going to the gym, and ull exchange all ur muscles for FAT.
My motivation to get up my **** is to be a better stronger and faster runner! It also makes me feel better to see how i can enjoy all benefits from exercise and people around me (family, friends, as is your case), dont (because of lazyness, mainly)
It is also a good option to go and get a gym buddy... some 'competition' is also great for motivation. In my case, i set my goal in a race.
Hey, good luck, and never leave it! Ull regret it! :)

Find some health-conscious friends, maybe even at your gym. Or book in a few sessions with a personal trainer to re-affirm the importance of what you're doing. There is a lot of evidence that if your friends are fat, it will change the way you think about it and it is highly likely that you'll be more comfortable with being fat, too. Sounds like this is beginning to happen to you.

Well i dont go to the gym but i try to exercise everyday. I think that what pulls me to working out is staying in shape. I think that if you eat sit around smoke and drinka llday you loose wellness and shape and your body not all people but majority wins in that race. But you shouldnt be turned off of the gym because of what your friends think first off its not at all healthy to smoke not even .5% healthy to smoke it reuins your lungs and makes your breath stink and sorts of stuff its bad for your heart too. But when you work out and get that hart pumping thats good. Drinking is bad for your kidneys and your liver your bladder and all that and im not saying if you do drink that you shouldnt but dont do it constantly if thats what they like doing then so be it but in my advice you should keep on track on doing what you do What ever you srtive for should be your intuition for you to stay in the gym. Dont wory about anyone else stay in the gym and be healthy trust me in the long run even if they are your friends you will still win

I'm not sure whether it wil be the same for you, but I have started going to classes. Since they're timetabled that encouraged me to go and you're pushed pretty hard in them which was the way that got me going back.
Good on you for going back though - just think, even if what I suggested doesn't work, just think of your body and health compared to theirs 3 months down the line!!!

I always rewarded myself with a sauna or whirl pool afterwards. That got me to the gym. And of course don't forget to listen to your favorite music while working out :)
