I have a very young chihuahua. She is full grown but her teeth aren't all the way in yet. I only know that not her exact age.

This is what is happening--She starts to make a really wheezy stressed breathing sound, her heart slows WAY own and her entire body goes limp just after shaking really bad. I live 72 miles from nearest vet and need some good advice. Could this be a seizure or a dream or what???

Thissounds like a seizure good chance due to low blood sugar. She needs to see a vet as soon as possible before these episodes cause brain damage.
In the meantime when you notice this happening give her about a 1/4 teaspoon honey straight into her mouth.
Also put a tespoon of honey in a pint of water and use this as her main water supply htis will help keep the sugar level up.
Also she should have food down at all times or about a tablespoon -2 tablespoons evry 2 hours 24/7
Again please do get hr to the vets as soon as posible
Also keep notes exactly when htese happen how long they last and exactly what happens. let teh vet know what you are doing as far as the honey. Talk to teh vet about nutrical a high calorie vitamin.
Good luck

i would be afraid this is something wrong with her heart like a heart murmur, the only way you'll be able to know is the vet. If they are seizures(all seizures are manifested differently..some dogs shake, some kick, some even dig..) they can be controlled though! one seizure lasts under 5minutes, that might help you tell if this is a seizure or not. Also there's usually vomiting the night before a seziure, and seizures *usually* happen late night or early morning. But please do see the vet, seizures put a lot of strain on the dogs heart and the vet should rule out a heart murmur or other diseases.

The heartbeat issue plus her body going limp after shaking make me think epilepsy. It's actually fairly common in dogs, but also usually treatable.

I would definitely take her in to the vet. If you're out in the country, you might check with your neighbors, or in the phone book to find a mobile vet who could come to you.

Take your dog to a vet immediately.

It is probably some respiratory infection.
