I have seen a lot of people complain about Firefox being slow, but no one ever asked how many extensions they are running (if you are anything like me, you are a big extensions junkie ;) and have noticed how slow Firefox was loading), so how's about seeing how fast Firefox is in Safe Mode is?

I don't know what the problem is, but I suspect you should look elsewhere for the answer. Try IE and see how fast it is. Chances are it's a factor with your computer, the internet response itself, or your ISP connection.
