Spinning them is the correct answer.
The difference, however, is not how fast they spin, but how evenly they spin. The yolk in the uncooked egg will stay centered, and the egg will essentially spin around it.
Due to the fact that the yolk in the hard-boiled egg has hardened, it will spin with the egg, in whatever spot it has solidified in. This will cause the egg to spin with a wobble, instead of staying in place.
FYI, if you're going to keep hard-boiled eggs in your fridge, you can just mark them with a pencil...My mom used to just write "H" on the pre-cooked ones.

Spin the eggs. The hard boiled egg will spin faster than the regual egg, because of the liquid state in the regular egg.

Spin the eggs then stop them, remove your hand, the one still spinning is the one not hard boiled. The hard boiled one will stop.

Shake the eggs. The yoke sack will break in the regular egg and you can feel that while shaking.

hold them up to the light, candle them (hold a candle up to the egg, if you can see light, it's raw, if not, it's boiled), shake them, crack them open
