I like this guy named Jacob, and I'm pretty sure he has no idea i exist. He is quiet, and he has drama right before I do. He has black hair, and he is japanese, and I used to live in japan. All of his friends tell me i should just go up to him and say hey but i get shy and i need another alternative. i dont know what to do. i changed my complete style to get his attention. i want to just go up to him and be like hii i'm brianna. but omgggg i cant do that. i have never met a guy that has given my butterflies, but he does, major major butterflies. i will be walking down the hall and he looks at me but i dont know what he is thinking about me, and when i do make eye contact with him i get butterflies and i bite the edge of my lip and look down at the ground. i dont know what to do to get his attention without totally embarrassing myself, help?

You seriously just need to go up to him and ask him if he'd like to go see a movie or something. You do seem to have caught his attention but just like you...he is too shy to come up to you and talk to you. Seriously...what is the worst that could happen? If he says no, he's missing out...and you'll have nothing to regret. You're both missing out by being too shy so go up to him already! You could even just casually walk by and say "Hey Jacob" (wait for him to look at you and then say) "I like your [insert something about his physical appearance here...examples are: shirt, shoes, hair]" A lot of guys use this to talk to a girl...it's just a way to break the ice...and once he answers...ask him about it...if it's his shirt you're complementing...ask him where he got it. Just make sure it's actually a cool shirt and not something that he may end up giving you a confused look for because his mom made him wear it and everyone else would agree that it is something that would be improved with a barf stain on it. Anyways...after you break the ice...you can ask him out. Good luck! Just remember....it's just a boy...like any other boy...you're just making it harder than it actually is.

lol well i know exactly how you feel. you've fallen hard but it doesn't matter because from what you say about him he sounds great. well i think you should hang out with him in a group you know when he's with his friends and you know maybe one or two of them go up to the group and just say hi to the guys you know and if the guys will probably introduce you to the rest of the group and that way you can start a little conversation with him. good luck :)

I'm in 10h grade and have a lot of GFs So trust me I know what you should do.
He probably just will be your boyfriend. At this time just try and have as much love with him as you can. Buy him a subscription of Maxim magazine to remember you by. Go ahead and give him all his Christmas presents now.

Stop changing things just to get his attention.
Work on talking to him, you can do it. and, it's really the only way to get to talk to him, unless you want to wait for him to approach, which may not happen, ever.
