Our section is kinda weird, don't worry, you 'll get used to it :)

As a Muslim, I don't celebrate Christmas but there sure will be a party to go on the New Year's eve..

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you, too, BTW :)

I don't know about the one that did post, but i can help with the other. It used to happen to me all the time. If the Q doesn't post and you don't get any answers, yahoo will delete it and take 10 point from you. if your Q's don't post then email a contact and get them to take a look :-)

Xmas eve will be hectic for me. I'm only cooking for 10 this year, but i still like to get everything ready on Xmas eve. I toddle into the kitchen with my spud peeler and a bottle of vodka. I am usually quite merry when all the veg are done lol.

Merry Xmas to you

Christmas Eve will be just another day around here. I think Santa Claus forgot where Iraq is, but that's okay. Every day is a gift right?

And Tanju is right!

That's because he said "Ipek is right" :P

And a most Joyous Noel to you, and all the blessings of the season and the New Year as well.

Never use "F" words on here (u may recall that u used it once as a response to someone who was askin a nonsense question bout Turkish girls however the question got deleted otherwise I was going to post that question 'n prove it to u) Remember Y!Answers is not one of those nasty chat rooms 'n using vulgar or foul languages are strictly prohibited by Yahoo. Always use appropriate words as a respect to Yahoo as well as other Y!users (especially for those youngsters)

Merry Christmas to you too :)

no worries
I will be in Istanbul during Christmas and New Year.
I am very happy because finally i can go to Istanbul.
I love Christmas and New Year period and also there is bayram in Turkey so i will be seeing a lot of my family and friends. For Xmas we have family dinner. My family is like united nations so everything is celebrated.
And on new years there is a very big party we will attend to after midnight.

Christmas... Hmm... I'm not really sure but probably I will be home. Hopefully I can find something to do.
And as for the section issue, never mind Yahoo! Answers is just a game nothing more...

Yes, me too I had noticed that this section was a little strange sometimes.
Only 20% of the questions deal with travel and holidays, and 80% deal with politics, childish quarells and friendly conversations. And there are also too many trolls here. Not to mention point gaming and multi-accounts syndrome.
That's weird...

Greece section too has the same "virus", apparently.

Well let me see first of all always end your question with a question mark (?).

Do not try to think that Yahoo uses any form of logic at all when screening questions. I have visions of monkeys playing with buttons and levers in the edit office.

Xmas? waiting for the gift of world peace.
