**** the situps, if you're working hard enough you should only work abs every other day and the day you work them you shouldn't be able to do 250 ups before bed or 250 the next morning. Not to mention that's way too many reps.
Try the egg thing if you like, but it sounds kinda disgusting to me.
Every week I buy the large carton of eggs (something like 24 or 36) and I hard boil them all. Eat a few a day (they're really good with some salt, throw out the yolks they're full of fats and no protein (personally I hate them). Egg whites are used in most protein shakes as protein and they are a great source.
In case you didn't know protein is a building block for muscle, without enough protein your muscles won't be able to heal and gain after a workout to their max potential (wasted effort in otherwise). Extra protein is converted to fat, so don't do that either 1g for every 2 pounds you weigh to start.
A protein shake is a great idea, I drink something called pro- complex, by on it's really good and has no fat in it. 64g of protein per serv.
get some cans of tuna, pour some hot sauce on that ***** and go to town. It's cheap and also good protein. If you're not trying to lose weight pasta a few days a week will increase your carbs to burn at the gym.
try and bump up your red meat intake too, like steaks and roasts, not necessarily burgers.
If your body is out of fuel (calories or carbs) it will use muscle as fuel, which is bad... of course. Make sure you have enough in your system when you hit the gym and you should eat right after too (within an hour your body will be trying to absorb all it can).
I don't know wheather you are trying to add bulk, stay where you are, or lose weight and gain muscle but I would guess you want big muscles either way.
High weight low rep builds size, but I'm sure you know that, make sure you change up your workout so your muscles don't get used to it.
good luck!

a good healthy diet and exercise. no special protein supplement Please.
· It is important to maintain a good diet so you don't compromise your health. Damage done because of lack of nutrition is not worth a nice body. Some diet damage cannot be fixed.
·
· When you deprive your brain,(your brain craves sugar) the brain will take other body cells to convert to the elements that it needs. And the cells it takes are BRAIN cells. OOPS. I don't want to lose brain cells to have thin legs. But I would like to have both.
DECIDE TO MAKE A LIFE CHANGE TO A HEALTHY LIFE STYLE.
1) fruits and veggies, all you want, organic, raw, vine-ripe if possible. Steamed is OK, sautéed is OK even canned or frozen is OK, but lots of them.
2) limited or no meat.
3) nothing fried
4) no FAST FOOD- is junk, no nutrition, empty calories
5) NO PROCESSED FOOD. if you can't pronounce it don't eat it.
6) nothing white, salt, sugar, mayo, milk, (or at least in moderation.
7) NO DAIRY-dairy is great for baby cows, your body does not even digest it properly. check out www.notmilk.com
8) EXERCISE- and be sure to refresh your body with water and fresh fruit
9) NO PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS. Muscle is made from water, replace the water. You get enough protein from the food you eat, You get more protein from spinach than the supplements you take and your body does not get toxic on food protein the way it will with supplements. Supplements can really tax you liver.
10) Good supplement would be Omega 3, and Juice Plus+

11) NO CARBONATED DRINKS, or at least limited. They actually dissolve the calcium in your bones.
12) Calories in calories out.
AND DON'T GO NUTS, MODERATION.

to get started no soda drink a gallon of water a day spring or distill no tap water!! or crystal light for your meals.
Lunch eat a grilled chicken breast vegetables with light oil or margarine and a fruit.
Dinner eat a tuna or chicken salad and a small cut of vegetables and a fruit.
no eating after 7pm !!
do 250 sit-ups in the morning and 250 sit-ups before bed.
Try this for 3 weeks and see the difference only if you really want to loose weight.
P.S.
American Whey protein is also good for a replacement meal.
Good taste and goes down smoothly.
Been taking it for 5 yrs now.
Good luck

You need to increase your protein intake.
Carbs may help too, they give you energy. Just try to eat them in the morning or for lunch. Don't have too much at dinner.
But, I don't lift weights that often so take mine with a grain of salt (I'm a boxer).

do no longer think of any particular meals will help benefit muscle mass- yet you are able to desire to consume a healthful eating regimen and which will help - a good number of fruit, greens, water, balanced nutrition and no junk nutrition. eating little and in lots of cases is extra powerful than super nutrition.
