Im making "sopa de conchitas" its mexican type of soup. It includes shell macaronies, a bit of tomatoe sauce, chicken broth, water, and a bit of semi-cooked minced onions.Oh ! and Horchata on the side to drink. Yummmmm!!!!

We're having a bbqed chicken on the rotissire, cornbread, cranberry beans cooked with ham hocks and fried potatoes with garlic and onions. We hardly ever eat like this but once in a while, comfort food is wonderful. It's been a grueling week, so we're indulging.

I have the best boyfriend ever! He is making country pork ribs with his special barbeque sauce, greens, mashed potatoes and corn bread- and when I came home he poured me a glass of pino grigio.... Love is great!
