Quit trying to use logic to figure out the mind of god...
You'll end up a godless atheist... like me!
consider this...
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?”

Do you really not understand the concept of being given free will? Yes, God knows what we're all going to do before we do it, and yes He still allows it to happen because of free will. We always have the choice to do the right thing. Despite God knowing the outcome of everything, NOTHING is set in stone.
God did not create evil. Evil comes from man, and man's decisions to CHOOSE to do the opposite of the right thing so often. God does not create our situations, we do. WE DO through our choices and the choices of those we keep around us. We can choose to make the best of bad situations that occur due simply to circumstance and accident, or we can choose to behave immorally. God wants us to CHOOSE to do right and to CHOOSE Him, not coerse us or force us.
As for "why did he create us" just look at your own children. Why did you decide to have children? Because you chose to create a little person and take responsibility for a new life to raise that child into a good, productive, generous, happy adult. Because you wanted something of yourself to pass on into the future. You had something wonderful to share with a new life.
We exist purely to love and be loved. That's the most single important purpose of life.
ETA: Technically, because God created Man and gave him free will, yes, he created evil, but evil exists because of Men. Not because evil was unleashed upon us by God.

I don't believe he knew everything that happened would happen that way.
Life is a test. The only thing 'God' knows is what the possibilities are. Not exactly what we are going to do. Thats how we get to 'heaven' *spelled wrong?*. He test us to do that right thing, make the right choices. But that is why we are to 'accept him' into our hearts, and ask for forgivness. Therefor we go to heaven. ....
Also if there was no evil, there would be no good. Read 'The Giver'... If there was no evil, we would have no idea what is good!!

I am a very committed Christian. I do read lots of Christian books, including the Bible and commentaries on it. But sorry, I just don't have an answer to that question.
Some people do try to give an answer but in doing that, they make it seem that evil is a necessity to teach us what is good. I don't buy that.
I really wish I had an answer for you.

It puts a whole lot of unwind on the "god knows everything" idealization. the word "god" is only a title, like "president" and "pope". If the entity you call god was/is all knowing, why didn't she/he put a safeguard in to protect from Nephilim and other evils? I've always been told not to put all my eggs in one basket, so I chose a different religious philosophy where my eggs are spread among many baskets.
have a happy Yule )0(

And he knew Adam and Eve were going to eat the apple. So why make the apple? So many things God did were misguided or malevolent, so I'm hoping He doesn't actually exist. Luckily, there is nothing out there to prove me wrong.
God, in general, doesn't make sense. That's all I'm saying.

OMG!are u blaming God?instead of being thankful that we are here?
Yes he knews everything even before the foundation of the earth.
He gave us freedom even the first man on earth Adam and Eve if they chose good and evil.
But unfortunately they did obeyed the will of God.They loved doing bad than good things.
So we have no choice but accept the fact that we are here.
God loved us sinced from the very beggining.
even he sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ he died for us to be saved.

Because He loved us, That is why He sent His only begotten Son to be incarnated in Marry, and to live a Holy life (Obeying God by keeping/doing the Commandments of God) and to die the second death for us. We can all live a Holy life just as Christ did, with the power of the Father. To receive this power we must believe on Jesus, obey the Fathers commands, and ask that we might receive. This is the only way to Heaven.

There is balance in all things. You have to take the bad with the good. If everything was all positive and wonderful all the time, we wouldn't even know what it would feel like to be happy. We would have nothing to compare it to.
If it is true that God has to stay pure and not be touched by darkness then of course he would need one of his own to go down and take over the responsibility for him.
*WHY did he bother making us it all?*
To know and understand him/her/itself. And because he/she/it is the ultimate artist and needs to create.

Have you ever heard of a Strong's Concordance ? Your quote of Isaiah is misinterpreted. The word "evil" is translated as stumbling blocks, chastisement, calamity. And what does the fact that God knew our parents have to do with knowing what we will do. The facts are that God will not interfere with free will accept for His elect, which volunteered for this gig.
