Good start on the list. More upscale gifts are live Maine Lobsters, steaks and meats (like Omaha Steaks Co.), caviar, bottles of liquor. Also jams and jellies, teas, fruit baskets, gift certificates for fast food and restaurants. I even got a catalog in the mail for a company that sends breakfast baskets for Christmas with pancake mix, muffins, that kind of stuff. Good luck on the project.

I gave these as gifts lasy year. It was a hit! Over The Top Peanut Butter Cookies Ingredients 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1/2 cup ( 1 stick ) butter or margarine, softened 1/2cup firmly packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 large egg 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 12 oz bag of mini M&Ms. 1 12 oz bag of mini Reeses Peanut butter Cups How to make it ----------------------- Preheat oven to 375 degrees In a large bowl sift to combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt In a large bowl beat together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add in egg and vanilla Combine flour mixture with peanut butter mixture, scrapping the sides of the bowl to insure batter is well blended. Add Mini M&Ms and stir gently so they don't break, Make small balls by the teaspoonful. Place on cookie sheet 1 inch apart. You don't bake these very long. Don't brown the bottoms. Right after the cookie comes out of the oven gently push a Reeses cup in the center of every cookie. Cookie center will be very warm and gooey at first.
