Ummm, most everyone seems to be answering the question what "ethnicity" are you.

Someone's nationality is the country that they hold citizenship. No matter WHERE their family may have come from. So my Nationality is United States.

If this is for school, you might want to make sure you got the question right. If the teacher did in fact ask "nationality", then you have it easy. Just pick the country you live in and say 100% of your respondants have the nationality of your country (you only talked to citizens of course).

First of all, nationality refers to citizenship while ethnicity refers to country of origin. I'm an American of predominantly Scottish and English heritage.

Swedish, English and Scotch/Irish. My grandkids are all pale blonde and are 1/4 Chocktaw or 1/4 Cherokee.

Though my mother's ancestors originated in England (and probably my Dad's, too), and even possibly France, I was born the good old USA's mid-section. So, MY nationality is American.

I'm Cherokee Indian, English, Brittish, Scottish and I think that's it, but I get called 'caucasion' in the way of legal papers.
