You have some good answers - call it sexual harrassment, and talk to the principal. I can imagine this seems difficult, but REALLY it is important, and 99.999999% of the principles would want to help you on this issue. The fact that you wear hijab is of 2nd importance here, I think. It would be worse to turn this into a racial/prejudicial matter, so do handle it as sexual harrassment (as bad as this sounds). I´m sure that if there are a few who do this regurlarly, they could get an official warning from the school. They would be really dumb to continue after that, but if they did, they would get real trouble (which would be what they deserve). Once word gets round that they got a warning for this you should be left alone. It is a matter of "choosing someone to bug and assuming they are too scared to do anything about it...". In other words, a bully, a power-play. Once they experience that you are not WEAK, they will stop. These guys are beyond the point of listening to your "no", they will not stop unless they get stopped from someone "higher".
PLEASE get help on this. Go for it!! Keep acting strong, no matter what happens. Doing something isn´t only helping YOU, it is potentially stopping them from contuing to be a bully to other women later, perhaps worse. I will pray for you!

I think that any school would have rules about this behavior. If the same person is doing the same thing, then just report them to the school administration, and make sure that you have a witness or more.

Before resorting to this measure, you can also mention to these people that you don't want to be touched by any means and it's because of religious reasons. That increases your chances of complaining about the person in case they don't stop it.

Peace/salaam.

well considering its a public school, 2 things that would work in this situation is you either shout real loud "stop hitting me!!!", which should get the attention of everyone, (including the teacher if present) this should stop him

or u could just hit him which should make him stop

that is all i can tell you, from observing guys who like to touch girls at school or just want to be rude at school, u gotta have an attitude when dealing with these kinds of people

u have to become a "mean girl" to avoid situtations like these

If you are attending a public school and taking their bus, you can tell a teacher, counselor, the bus driver, anyone really. They will be sure to put a stop to it. That's very inappropriate behavior, and shouldn't be tolerated in a public environment.

Cheers

Asalam Alaikum
Sister you should not have to put up with this. Tell the person flat out not to touch you. You don't need to give a reason its your body. If you have to take action, like getting the police involved then do so.

My dear sister in Islam, have you ever heard of something called pepper spray? Buy a pepper spray and then just spray him in his eyes.

I give you some tips:
- mixing of men and women is haram
- touching opposite gender (non-mahram) is even bigger haram
- never again entertain such person
- stay away from pervs
- kick him in his "precious"
- don't be polite on this, politeness to pervs will be perceived as weakness and willingness by them

What does this have to do with being Muslim? Touching people against their will is wrong and could be construed as physical assault especially if they've been asked to stop it. Tell them you'll go to the police.

accidental touching (someone brushes by you in a crowd) is unavoidable and no reason for you to get upset.

The ones that are blatantly touching you are being rude. Tell them to please not touch you, that it is forbidden in your religion for a male who is not related or married to you to touch you. If the touching continues (or you've already done this and it continues) then you need to get an adult involved. Talk to a teacher, a counselor or a Principal. It is their responsibility to enlighten the students that what they are doing is a form of harassment and against all school policies. If your administrative staff is unwilling to work with you in this matter then talk to one of your parents and have them come to the school to speak with someone.

Just politely say excuse me I would appreciate it if you would not touch me my religion says that we or no one else of except our husband is alowed to touch us just explain and then leave it at then they should respect you for that then maybe insha'allah be curious on more why Islam teaches this way you don't want to be rude because then that would show bad image of Muslims you want to be calm and polite and if they don't listen then take it to the authorities. :)
