I just reloaded Windows XP and now when I open up a window, it opens very small. I have to click the maximize button up in the right hand corner of the window to make it full screen.

when you open it up when it's small take the arrow and manually make it bigger by dragging it with the arrow, then next time when you open another window it will be as big as you made it.

if you open the screen and maximize it and then close it while it is maximized...next time you open it, it should be maxmized. If it isn't...keep doing it and eventually it will be.
