Maybe he wants to keep you hidden for some reason... Another girlfriend perhaps ? Maybe he doesn't want you to meet his family yet ? There could be a number of reasons. Best thing to do is, is to ask him !

this may be part of the reason, or a manifestation of why, you have low self-esteem and a lack of self-confidence. you know things need to change,but you are scared of change. it begins with you, and your perception of your self-worth. start now, and little by little you can change your situation. you can begin to realize that you deserve better. you do not deserve so much pain. i hope i can help you.
