Take some Zicam every four hours. It will be knocked out in a day or two. Trust me.

Get you some vitamin C pills and start taking them daily whether you feel a cold coming on or not. Also, drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest every night, not just when a cold is coming on. This is the way the body recupes its energy and heals. Resting lets the body build up its defences to fight whatever might come.

Hello,
Drink Hot Honey Lemon Tea and Hot water. Take lots of fluids and citrus juices. I do not know much about Mucinex pills.

Gargle with warm salt water. Stay out of cold and stay warm.

If you feel congested, inhale vaporub with hot water or turmeric powder.

Best wishes

Colds and flu affect most people at some point. Common colds are minor upper respiratory infections caused by hundreds of different viruses and are highly contagious. Influenza is one of the most common infectious viral diseases. The flu may be prevented in many people who receive the flu vaccine. Bird flu is caused by viruses that in rare cases may spread from birds to people.

You should make chicken broth with garlic and onion and vegetables and hot pepper to help decongest you nasal passages. I use hot chili paste in my chicken soup. I add it to my bowl not the pot. You can get coldeeze cough drops. Take vitamin c and drink plenty of water, water cleans your body out and if you take mucinex it tells you to drink plenty of water because mucinex thins flem and it takes water to work well.

1. don't do anything too active.
2. drink green tea (hot or iced) iced, try arizona ice tea with honey and ginseng
3. make sure whenever you have a runny nose you blow it because if not, at night the nasal "goo" will drip to your throat and you will have a lot of mucus and congestion
4. try tylenol cold pills- they help a lot!
5. don't go outside with out a hat, gloves, scarves, and a coat!

I use Zicam nasal swabs, found them to be quite effective in minimizing symptoms of a cold already caught and shortening the duration. I also use one a day prophylactically and I haven't caught a cold in over four years now.

Well dont do anything yet, you dont want to take to much medicine. Go to the doctors and ask them to perscribe something. Drink lots of fluids and get as much rest as you can. Try to find medicine to take in the day and then some to take at night.
