God has revealed His eternal moral law. Whether or not, some of the people who teach us about this law is celibate or not does not matter.
God is concerned with how we treat each other.
We have been instructed to love
+ Our neighbor as we love ourselves
+ One another as Jesus loved us
When we treat each other like sex objects, when sex is taking instead of giving, we damage the human dignity of both our partner and ourselves.
True giving of yourself to another in a sacramental marriage is what love is all about.
Marriage is a symbol of God's creation of the world in an act of divine love and self-outpouring.
Marriage is a symbol of the love, commitment, intensity, and passion of Christ for the Church for which He laid down His life.
Christians take sex very seriously because it is a glorious gift from God that lets us feel just a bit like God. We become lovers, givers, and creators.
With love in Christ

Jesus, St. Paul and many of the early christians were all celibate. Does that mean they can't tell us anything about it?
You don't have to jump off a bridge to know it aint good for ya. NOT that sex is like jumping off a bridge or harmful, it is good, but it is illogical and against experience to think you must do everything in order to have knowledge about it.

It is Gods Law not a Priest or Nun. God Made a covenenant with the Hebrews. This covevnant was renewed with his only begotten son Jesus Christ. Included in that covenant is our promise of monogamy and marrige to the opposite sex.

Regardless of religion, everyone should have enough common sense to know when not to indulge in that which could potentially prove debasing.

You are asking why listen to celebate? popes, cardinals, bishops, and priests who hide child crimes/child abuse from secular police departments to save Rome lawsuit money?
There is no reason to and many reasons not to.
