Guys are often emotional. They just tend to have more separation of the physical and emotional aspects of relationships. Most men find it easier to have a physical relationship without emotion than women do (although there are exceptions on both sides).

Men tend to keep their emotions more inside than women do. This is partly because it's what is expected of men (lots of men are still embarrassed to cry).

It may be that your boyfriend doesn't have deep feelings for you and just wants you for the sex. It might be time to find a boyfriend who can feel some of the emotional things before letting him have the physical side of you.

This is more of a person to person question. Every guy is different in this realm. If you want a more emotional guy they are out there. But if you love him tell him you want him to be more open with his emotions and tell you how he feels from time to time. If he really loves you he'll try his best to fulfill this request. Though maybe he doesn't know how to put his feeling into words. If he just holds you(not sexually touches you) then he is expressing that he cares for you and what you are telling him about your emotions.

All guys are different... I've had cry baby friends, and I've had the opposite as well. I'd just say that guys (especially in front of a girl) are very introverted when it comes to emotions.

Guys see being emotional as a sign of weakness, and no guy wants to be viewed this way.

The best way they know to get out of a emotional situation is to get physical (example: when you get upset that your pet fluffy died, what does he do? He wants to "make you feel better")

You have to understand that most men aren't going to voice emotions -- even if they DO have them. Women are vocal, and men are physical. There is the occasional man that is more adept to voicing his feelings, but most men can't put words with the emotions, and it winds up coming out phsycial.

Either that or you're being used....

Cheers

Can we switch places? Somehow, I always seem to run into emotional guys...more emotional than me. Maybe it's because I keep a very cool head and...that makes them crack, who knows...So try NOT expressing any emotion...who wants such an emotional person anyway? Don't be too needy, sweetheart!

I cry in movies from time to time. Every guy is emotional, but a majority of them are afraid to show it because it makes them feel like a pu$$y.

From early on in our lives guys are given the impression that chicks don't dig emotional pansies so whatever we have going on emotionally is usually locked away somewhere deep.
