What age should someone have there first "real" boyfriend?

I don't think anyone requires a 'real' boyfriend until 16-17.
Especially since there is more pressure on kids to have sex.
(Not that you should have sex at that age, I think you are better equipped to deal with it at this age then say 14)
Until then, enjoy hanging out without the drama.

There is no specific age when one should start dating and have a boyfriend or girlfriend. It all depends on their maturity level and the rules in that individual's family. I think in general, no one should really date before 14 though. Even so, I think that age is a bit young to have someone steady.

16 i mean in middle school kids that are 13 and 14 have "Boy/girlfriends" but at the age of 16 i think that's when it gets into real serious dating.
