As an alternative to your chocolate cravings, try chocolate pudding (its not loaded with calories, has an extra boost of calcium - which I am sure you need, being a female) and try gingersnap cookies, the sweet spiciness will squelch any cravings and you can have several cookies without all those calories, when I "discovered" how many you could have for so few calories, that was it for me. Plus, I love gingersnaps!
Try a mix of raisins and carob, way less calories than choclate and stay away from the holiday goodies - carry your own, as in above.

1st you need to give away/throw away your stash, so your not tempted.
I would suggest that you eat fruits, they are very delicious and not nearly as bad as choclate (although there much worse than people think)
the occasional peice of choclate won't kill you either, it's important to be fit and look good, but it's important to enjoy life too and if choclate is what you want choclate is what you should have (in moderation mind you). As long as you are eating healthy otherwise and exercising I would say a couple hunderd calories of choclate a week would be just fine.

When i was pregnant with my second daughter i craved chocolate like crazy!! My solution was Coco Puffs. They are only like 50 calories per serving and even vitamin fortified. I'd keep a baggie on hand at work. don't eat them with milk. just grab four or five and craving should be over! Hope that helps.

If its sweet things your craving, and not just chocolate, then fruit is good to snack on, celery is good as its mostly water, also try sugar free chewing gum that keeps your teeth busy and the action of chewing fools your brain into thinking your eating, also drink lots of water to fill you up..hope this helps, it worked for me when I lost 2 stone.

peanut butter & apples is a good snack b/c it's high in protine. I don't know if you all have 100 calorie packs where you are, but if you do, then try finding the rice cakes w/ chocolate drizzled on them... so good to stop that chocolate craving & not a lot of calories/fat ..
good luck!

I agree with one of the other answers, relax first. Is there a reason for the weight loss, stress or something else. Do you need to see a doctor to see if there is a physical reason for this weight loss? If it is stress related do you have someone to talk to?
Going back to your original question, one of the things Madonna ate was plain popcorn. No salt or sugary coating.

Vegetable soups are always good. They fill you up and are low in calories. Salads too but with lowfat dressing. Make sure you eat protein with every meal: meat, low fat dairy, especially yogurt.

Unbuttered or lightly buttered popcorn is great for snacking on.
Dark chocolate has less sugar in it than milk/white chocolate. There's also "sugar free" brands out there.
