my son needs a wheelchair wear can i buy one from his 10 anyone know of a site for kids wheelchirs

Can the hospital not recommend a good supplier, surely they could get you one on the NHS or are you the wrong nationality. Sorry i don't meant to be abrupt, but it annoys me that you may be decent people who have worked and paid your NHS and you still have to go any buy a wheel chair for your child!!! Hope you find a nice comfy one for your son. Send him our love and kisses!!

Hi.try these sites...www.bin-to.co.uk...www.yourableshop.co.uk and BetterLifeHealthcare.com/Wheelchair...they all sell wheel chairs and delivery is free.. i hope this helps to get your son out and about in time for Christmas .xx

if your son needs a wheelchair he should be refered to the occupational therapy team for assessment they will probably refer him to the nhs hospital mobility centre. Has he is only 10 i would not actually recommend buying him one due to the fact he still has a long way before he stops growing. my daughter has a wheelchair from the mobility centre, but once she has stopped growing i will be buying her own chair.

ur hospital is supposed to give u a list of suppliers. i am in one to. we get it from united seating

When our daughter has surgery, we are able to rent one, and our nsurance covers it.
