if you smoke, would you rather date someone who also smokes...or a nonsmoker?...or do you have no peference?

If you don't smoke, would you ever consider dating a smoker?

And also, if you date a nonsmoker, would you smoke around them?

I don't smoke at all and as a lifelong athlete and fitness buff, good health has always been of vital important to me. That being said though, and as ironic as it will sound given what I just mentioned, I actually prefer to date women who smoke rather than women who don't. Non-smoking women just don't do anything for me (I mean, I'm just not attracted to them), while women who smoke on the other hand I find to be incredibly alluring. So for me, it's definitely a matter of opposites attract. My current girlfriend smokes about a pack a day (one every few hours) and I'm definitely not bothered at all by that and she is the only person in the world who I ever allow to smoke in my car (she's my baby so she's more than welcome to). And yes, I love kissing her...I just always wait at least a few minutes until she's finished her cigarette.

My mother smokes, I never plan to and never have. I would most definitely prefer a nonsmoker. You don't have to worry about walls turning yellow, or clothes smelling like smoke. Also, the health risks that are associated with smoking are huge! Cancer, Pregnancy risks, etc, etc.. If I -were- a smoker, and I was dating a nonsmoker, I would do what my mother does. . . Go outside! My mom smokes about a pack every 2-3 weeks, and she has never smoked inside. I thank her soo much for that, I hate smoke, cigarettes, and anything of that kind, so yeah, thanks mom! Hope this helped! Love, Bubbles =)

Smoking don't make a difference. You could miss out on your true love trying to decide if you should because he is a smoker or nonsmoker

I don't smoke, I prefer a nonsmoker, but would be willing to negotiate an accord with a smoking partner. example: the inside of the house would be a no smoking zone--sorry no compromises there. ok to smoke in the car if I'm not in it, ok to smoke outside or in a restaurant or bar.

grew up in a home with a parent and grandparents who smoked. Didn't like smelling like cigarette smoke all the time and didn't like how the smoke/tar/nicotine damaged the walls, carpets, and furniture in the house.
