My cat has red around her eyes, one more swelling than the other that she can't open it all the way. I started her on this flea control medicine recently, and it seems that the itching has grown, not stopped, because she starts licking the spots agitatedly. Before the pink eye, I saw her washing her face the way cats do, with their paws, and then it was pink. What should I do???

She may have allergies, or she may have pushed some of the flea control into her eye. Try to rinse her eye under VERY, VERY GENTLE, warm running water, and get her to the vet ASAP. This sort of reaction may leave her blind if left untreated.

Which flea treatment are you using? If it's from a store, beware! Store-bought flea treatments often cause reactions. I would stop using whichever treatment for now if you suspect it's causing problem. Ideally, you should be taking the cat to a vet if you want to know what the problem with her is - certainly take her if she gets worse or develops new symptoms. Stop the flea control for now, wash it off if possible, see if this helps. Only use veterinary flea treatments from now on.

Get that cat to the vet BEFORE she loses her eyesight! There is obviously a problem. Stop putting that garbage on her and get her the treatment she not only deserves but is entitled to BY LAW! Stop wasting time on the computer and get your cat to the vet.
