Has anyone here used an MSD Digital 6+ ignition timing unit for spray applications with the VQ35DE engine? I'm going to be spraying 75 shot and need to retard timing during spray (via window switch). Anyone successfully used this on an 02+ Altima?

Well, considering 3 people I know personally have been spraying a 75 shot for 3-4 years now, I don't think its a huge problem. They had the dealer retard the timing, but I've had the Technosquare reflash done, wjhich advances the timing, so to avoid detonation, I'd like an ignition timing device that would retard only during spray.

WOW I sure hope your MSD can do that. Does JWT have a computer chip yet? And just how much more fuel are you going to spray during the Cutting torch exercise? Get another motor ready your about to find out why. I haven't seen anyone yet use spray sucessfully on 3.5 liter Altimas. Maby you can crack the ingnition timing tables OR install another crank sensor in the belhousing for that -15 degrees you'll need? and switch back and forth under spray and no spray?
