I used to be depressed all the time and winter was the worse. But that was before I started taking Prozac. I'm much better now.

Christmas time is the worst for depression. Winter is hard because of lack of sun light. When the blues come, you need a defense. Find something that makes you feel up and happy! It's up to you, no one else can make you feel good about yourself. Just lighten up.

not really. But there's an actual illness that can make a person's emotions match the weather.
eg. winter= depressed.

When I have to work, get up, it's cold etc.
I'm never happy. I hate it. It's pathetic. It makes no one want to be around me :(.
I need to snap out of it.
I recon however that humans are meant to hybernate in the winter... that would be so cool (as long as we lived an extra 30 years).

I don't know if I would call it depressed, but I feel like I get in these 'ruts" like I am doing the same thing day after day and nothing exciting is happening.

I am a very happy-energetic person...and while winter is cold and I do get extremly cold and its the time of colds and walking towards the wind and snow hitting your face..It doesn't damper my mood. I am still very-very happy!!!

Yes, but it's actually a reflection of frustration.
Yes, but it's seasonal affective disorder, that's usually helped by going outside regardless of the temperature.
