You will lose the same amount that you will gain as soon as you stop the fast. Eat a sensible diet and increase exercise. Yoyo dieting leads to further weight gain, not loss. Fasting once a month is good, but for health reasons not for weight loss

It all depends on your metabolism. Is your thyroid functioning properly? Are you active. Have you fasted recently in the past and how did it go? All factors you must take into consideration. Also your body mass and height come into play. Best to check with a physician or dietician. Although it's not exactly the best option, you're more than likely not to get too ill from this if you're generally healthy. I'd guess you'll lose up to 5-10lbs depending on your activity level. Hope this helps, but be sure to check it out before you try it with a qualified person first.

don't do that brother. It is not worth it. Calculate your calorie intake for a day and then cut it down. Another tip that helps is when you are eating...eat very slowly/talk. That would get you filled up faster. The worst thing to do is eating fast.

so.... really do not go on the water fast.. it is not healthy at all. good luck.

i'm not so sure that's the right thing to do. have you checked with a doctor? why not do 1,000 calories a day? i'm sure you'll lose weight that way.
