I thinks it's called Murphy's Law like when your buttered toast always seems to land butter side down on the floor if you drop it (accidentally that is!)

Well if your throwing it in your waste basket 'I throw something in my waste basket' i guess it means there's a hole in it if your missing?

because you don't allow for the differential co-ordination of your eyes the distance of the bin .elevation of your aim and the power and thrust of the throw nor allowing for the wind factor ..plus you can't throw straight..best idea is to put the bin closer..

maybe you should get up, go over to the trashcan, and just throw it out when you are up close, and there is NO way that you can miss it
