Once the IRS receives your return how long does it take for them to post that they received it?

I did not file my 2006 taxes due to a discrepancy on my wages earned with Social Security. I am trying to close on a house and they had me file them. I sent the return overnight and the IRS has received them, but it still shows that I have not filed.

From the date IRS receive your return, it usually take about 3 weeks to show up on IRS system as received and from the date IRS receives the return it could take 6-12 weeks to fully process your return.
