Some city have municipal code about camper parking on the street. It is stupid. Talk to a City Attorney if there is such a code, if not, complained to the police station.

You probably live in a neighborhood that has restrictions against parking on the street or having over-sized vehicles in full view. Check with the neighborhood association or call the police and ask them why you keep getting notices. Just moving the bus around isn't enough. Many people, including myself, resent the parking of large unsightly vehicles on my street. If you buy an RV, you must have a place to park it out of sight. Before I bought my house in a lower-middle class neighborhood, I deliberately visited it at different hours of the day to see what vehicles would be parked there. I like seeing nice lawns, not a parking lot or used-car dealership on my street.

You probably have a city ordinance against leaving campers on the street for an extended period of time. Those "stickers" are going to turn into tickets pretty soon.

If you call the department, I'm sure they will tell you what the law is you are violating.

There are certain vehicles other than passenger that are not allowed to park on the street, and in some cases, even in the driveway, in plain view. Some of these are according to plate, or vehicle weight. Check with the Police to see if your vehicle is in violation, and why.

It may be illegally parked, improperly tagged, or not tagged at all. If it's improperly tagged or not tagged at all, it shouldn't be on the street. If it's in your driveway, they don't care. But do move it, because you will wake up one day soon to find it's been towed.

Maybe you do not have a license plate on it. If it is on public streets, it needs to be licensed by the DMV.
