You realize this is useless to argue with them about, don't you?

Sorry that I answered your second question first. I think the passage that I mentioned in James 1:12-16 works very well. I believe it is a choice and not something that someone is born with. If someone is born "gay" then that would either not be a sin, or God cannot blame the individual for his or her actions. James says that God cannot tempt anyone, this would mean that no one is "born gay" or with gay tendencies. We are tempted though in the things that we desire. Any sin is not an overnight change, but a development over time. The desires that we are tempted in are formed over time. Temptation is not a sin though. Someone can be tempted to have a homosexual lust or to act. It is still up to the person as to what to do or think based upon that temptation.

#1 - No Christian wants to deny anybody their rights.
#2 - Nowhere in the bible does it say to deny somebody their rights.
#3 - MARRIAGE is the union of a man and a woman. Gay people already can marry and adopt babies.
Look around at the animal kingdom. Humans, both religious and non are the most accepting of same-sex behavior within our species. In the animal kingdom, that type of behavior usually results in expulsion from the group, or death. So if you don't believe that God has the right to set down the rules, should we go by animal kingdom example? .... you know, our evolutionary ancestors...
Edit - Baldy,
If you want to go to Heaven, get into a church that teaches from the bible. Doesn't have to be any particular denomination, but you must get away from false doctrine if you want to know and please God.

No, it's not okay because it's still a human right and you can't deny someone that right. Think about it, the same thing was done to other groups of people in the past. So why do we have to repeat the past in order to progress into the future? I don't think we can base every life choice we make on what the bible says.

course theres nothin wrong with it. cuz god is perfect, and he doesnt make mistakes. so therefore the creation of gays and homosexuality must NOT be a mistake and MUST be a part of the natural world. and to all opposed to this answer: can u honestly say that uve NEVER done anything sexual with/around the same sex (age doesnt matter)? dont lie b/c god is always watching. and if you answered yes, then when u demean homosexuals, u are being a hypocrite. and arent u supposed to luv ALL your fellow man as if they were your flwsh and blood if u were a true christian? im sorry, wat was that? u sound a little shaken now. dont let it get to u. its just the truth of god out there in your face.

Love each other? If it's really "love" they want and not sex, they can get that just as easily from a member of the opposite sex like they're supposed to.
Adopt babies? So they can brainwash them into the homosexual lifestyle? Gays can't reproduce, so they have to take other people's kids.
God created their bodies; he did not create the human body for that kind of abuse. Homosexuals make a conscious choice to have sex with someone of their own gender. That puts it into the same category as every other sin done wilfully.
Also, if they're going to act like animals, why bother getting married? Are they having a "guilt trip"? Why not just live in sin anyway like every other heterosexual couple these days? Why bother sanctifying their sin with marriage?

Oh, I see, you believe gay people should have special rights from other people. There is no reason for that, If a gay man wants to get married there are plenty of girls that will be obliging and I am sure that a gay woman can find a man to marry her.

Do they have different rights than we do? I can't marry someone of the same sex, and neither can they. I have no fear of talking to homosexuals about the sin of homosexual activity in a charitable way. (*note that I said "homosexual activity" and not "homosexuality".) He/she may listen and in so doing I will plant the seed of truth. That's about all I can do. When speaking to gays, I often use alcoholism as an analogy. I tell them an alcoholic has to make a choice:
1) They can say "God made me this way so it must be okay to get drunk"
or
2) I know I'm alcoholic, I know drunkeness is a sin, so I need to check myself.
I apply that same logic to homosexuals: Recognize the wrongness of the activity and don't give in to your weakness. I don't hate homosexuals, just like I hope nobody hates alcoholics. We're all sinners, and we all have particular weakness to a particular sin. The key is to be the master of your weakness and overcome it, and don't buy into the lies of modern society or political-correctness.
I invite you to learn about "Courage" - http://couragerc.net/
"Courage" is an apostolate of the Catholic Church and ministers to those with same-sex attractions and their loved ones. You'll never hear about it in the mainstream media: They have many success stories of people overcoming their same-sex atraction issues, and sometimes even getting married to fellow members of the opposite sex. They are amazing stories - stories which prove wrong the notion that you are just born that way and there is nothing you can do about it.

Yeah who cares that the rest of the world will tease them unmercifully while growing up. Who cares that they will have to sort out their twisted thinking because if you like it or not it is not normal. Those adopted babies were not the product of a gay relationship no matter how twisted you look at it. Face it.

hmm still voted to let them get married

nope no change
I may not agree with them but this is a place where supposedly you have some rights (even though if you dissagree you get harssed for it because people like to lump things together) and I fight for the chance for every one to have the same rights
