Yep...they went from completely thinking evolution is wrong to halfass adapting it into their religion by saying god created evolution. In another couple of years they'll be adding evolution to the bible, just you watch.

Like all atheists or nonbelievers you twist the Bible and make up nonsense for things you are uneducated about. God has always made his existance, goodness and truth known to people. But people don't want to do things God's way, they would rather choose their own path. And what is so hard to believe about sodom and gommorah? You don't think it's possible that there was so much evil there that it needed to be destroyed? Go back and read the account of sodom and gomorrah. How many times did God tell them to change their evil way before he destroyed them? How many years did he allow for them to change? Before God destroyed the city, Abraham bargained with God and said, if he found one righteous person God wouldn't destroy the two cities. And Abraham didn't find one person. The Jews are still God's chosen people. He never took that back from them. The Bible says, " he who blesses the Jews will be blessed, he who curses the Jews will be cursed". So if you got hatred against the Jews I suggest you check which side you're on because it's probably the wrong side. God is continually showing his goodness, mercy and truth, but people still dont accept it. How long has the US been around and has continually become more evil day by day. Abortion, murders, child molesters, pornography, rapists, drug lords, injustice. Judges are bought and sold in public. Unfair treatment for the rich. More than 200 years God has patiently waited for the US to repent of its evil and it just gets worse. God will wipe the US off the map one day, if things dont change.

There are several logic problems that arise when a Christian accepts evolution as part of his worldview.
If we came from animals, then there's no such thing as "sin", and Christ died in vain, which would make the Christian's faith in vain as well.
Also, there are problems with the "Gap" theory and the "Day/Age" theory. With the Gap theory, when God looked and said "It is very good" (about His creation), was Satan already the ruler of this world and Adam and Eve were standing on top of millions of years of dead things?
With the Day/Age theory, we know that, according to Genesis, plants were created on Day 3. The Sun wasn't created until Day 4. So those poor plants just sat there for a million years waiting for the Sun to come up?
No, I believe that the world/universe was created in 6 literal days, just like Scripture says. There is no room for "interpretation" here, because Genesis is an historical book, not a prophetic book.

The basis for Christian belief is the Bible. It does not indicate evolution at all.
Of course there is Mechanistic Determinism where one atom collides with another and this setts off a series of events that must be and therefor everything will happen in a predetermined manner according to physics.

Nope, and even if everyone said it, I still wouldn't believe it. I think it's so incredibly stupid when people say, "I believe in evolution, but I still believe there's a God". It's like, then you'd ask them what would God be for then?? It's just pointless, and when some agnostics say that there is a God but they don't even care, they just leave it like that and live their life how they want. It's just so idiotic.

That depends whether you are talking about a literal interpretation of the word stork or taking it as an euphemism for something more realistic :D

I just wanted to say that in serious, traditional Christian theology, either Catholic, Calvinist or Methodist,
there is no need to add either Creationism or Evolution.
Christianity isn't about that.
The book of Genesis or any theory of origins is NOT essential to believe in Jesus Christ.
'Sola Christos'
or in English,
Jesus alone saves.
Adding Creationism to Christianity is as bad as the First Century error we read about in Acts 10, adding Circumcision to Christianity. And for the same reason! The Old Testament is history.

Dear, I mean this in a very nice way, but if you think of it that way, it shows that you really don't understand what we are saying when we say that. :)
It's a little more sophisticated than the stork stuff.
Hope you're having a good day.

We keep coming back to this "evolution" vs "creation" argument! Why?
Creationism is wrong, wrong, wrong!
It's a total fabrication put about by deluded and cynical people determined to keep their livelihoods by suckering their equally deluded congregations. Get real people!
