I usually buy hand made pots, candle bases and plates for decoration (there are in small sizes, easy to carry in luggage), earrings (oriental style mostly), coffee, halva, clothing for beds and pillows, (its never enough for my mom! she always keeps asking for different colors :D), tavla (but not easy to carry), small nargile, and other souvenirs that reflect Turkish culture and tradition, there are also amazing glass made things for home, kitchen or even for decoration, from the famous glass factory, hand made stuff (guys i dont remember the name! )
good luck, i am sure you ll find many wonderful things to buy!
