I mean really how do you know you aren't reporting an answer from the "second coming". Or first as it were.

So is it reasonable to say that some of you actually think there should be opinion police?

No, I would feel lower than Judas if I did not report crap.
Yes, lets express our opinions, but let's not make R&S a sewer. Show other readers respect by not contaminating their minds with the filth of mouth diarrhea.

No.

Most likely, if you report the person, you never liked them...

(like your name BTW)

-------

I'm not saying opinion police, but some people insult others, don't even ask a question, or answer a uqestion, some people write crude(sexual) things, and other things.

This is suppossed to be a community where we help each other...being rude to, insulting others, etc. is not how a community works.

some questions are plainly hateful. one can report such a question selflessly. (judas' act was hardly altruistic).

but most reporting is done because believers are suppressing questions that they would prefer not to answer.

this is much worse than what judas did. judas did evil for money, not out of simple malice.

Well, according to the most popular beliefs, Judas betrayed Jesus. Reporting someone on R&S for their unfortunate behavior is hardly tantamount to sabotaging the son of god.

But, if it works for you, then don't report anyone on R&S, thus assuring your place in heaven.

It makes that person a whiny tattle-tale emo baby, that takes things way too seriously. Religious or not. If someone doesn't like what they read, they should just go to a different page. Reporting is ridiculous and accomplishes nothing. The violator just creates a new account and never leaves anyway.

What? Unless a poster is being insulting or crude there is no reason to report anyone. This site is for opinions.

I guess, using YOUR logic, there should be no police either - they actually arrest fellow human beings JUST because they broke the law (*SHOCK*)

Maybe you're actually trying to hide something that would send you straight to prison, so you're against law or the police?

Just turn yourself in. Get it over with. The world will be a safer place with you behind bars if I'm reading you right.

Nope - provided you have some 'valid' reasons behind it.

Now the 'validity' of your reasons might be subject to questions, but then it's another matter .. !
