It sounds like you have discussed marriage. So if that is true, then you have to evaluate the reasons for the lack of long-term commitment. Is it related to money, career or family problems, which can change? Or is it a character issue, which is very hard to change? I would say that it is time to move on if you do not think things will change. If you think they can change, then plan together to make things happen to remove the roadblocks. If he balks, then you know that these reasons are smokescreens.

Try this....

Say that you need a break cos you can't handle handle that kind of relationship...If he cares he shud change his mind...
