And did you feel guilty about it? Did anyone try to make you feel bad for eating it? I love animals, but I don't see what the big deal is about eating meat, regardless of how young it is, or what it is, or how cute or pretty it may be.

So far, the weirdest things I've eaten are cow tongue and liver (YUCK!!!!!) and Osterich meat, which was really good. I had venison for the first time two years ago marinated in Chiavetta's and it was awesome!

I'm going to have some lamb tonight for the first time, also.

I had deep-fried turkey testicles once. They were actually surprisingly good. It was an annual event where I used to live. They served them with coleslaw and Texas toast.

lamb is very good. I've eaten all parts of the cow except the eyes, brain is a bit insipid, tongue is my favorite, cheeks and lips are not very tender, heart - cooked correctly is tasty, the tail makes great soup .... the same with pig and domesticated fowl (chicken is my favorite) all kinds of fish, some are better than others, python, rabbit, rattlesnake, alligator and crocadile, bison, many kinds of antelope (dik-dik was the best!- elephant and hippo are not very good, several kinds of insects ... etc.

Lamb is good, especially if its BBQ'd.
The weirdest things Ive eaten are Racoon and Snake. The racoon was made into a stew and it was pretty tasty, the snake was battered and fried and tasted like chicken.
I didnt/dont feel guilty about eating meat.. thats what God made them for..food.

I love cow tongue (smoked and boiled with a mustard sauce) and liver and onions. To each his own, i guess.

I think the weirdest thing that I unintentionally ate was at a Chinese restaurant called "marinated assortment". After eating about half of it (it was a mix of crunchy bits and soft bits) I asked the waitress what I was eating. She told me it was pig ears and snouts!

We eat ostrich pretty regularly, it's a lot less fat than beef but tastes pretty much like it. I've eaten frog, a little greasy, kinda looks and tastes like chicken. I tried crocodile at a nearby restaurant but I try really hard to abstain from eating anything that could or would eat me!

i've eaten "rocky mountain oysters" and if you dont know what they are I will try to describe them without being reported to yahoo for being obscene! they are the two little round things 'down below' that make a bull a bull and not a cow.
they batter and deep fry them, and believe or not they were actually pretty tasty.
