Both countries are advanced and beautiful to live in. Canada has many large chain pharmacies looking for pharmacists and is also manufactures many drugs due to their close proximity to the U.S. Canadian standards are almost identical to the U.S., therefore if your degree is from the U.S. or you have plans on returning there (or moving there) lter in life, I would go with Canada.

So your real question should be what countries recognize the pharmacist credentials you have from the country you earned them.

Given the aging demographic of both countries and the increase health issues that come with that, I imagine it is a growth industry in both countries. Also take from the aging demographic that a lot of pharmacists will be retiring. Canada pharmacy's have been pretty lucrative for years. Cheaper drug prices compared to the US, means many Americans will try to find loopholes and order medications from Canada. Add on the Internet and it has become big time business. Pharmacists working within that system are making a killing and left a void in regular drug store pharmacies in some areas of Canada.

Population wise, Canada is about 10 million more people than Australia. Then the US is 10 times Canada's population. More people means more drug sales.

There are lots of jobs in Canada. But if I were you, I would check first that your credentials are even recognised here.
