Okay.....straight up.
They are expecting a Nor'easter to happen Saturday night into Sunday. Ballpark prediction in NYC is about 3 - 6". Unlike today (Thursday the 13th) where we had sleet in some parts, nothing has been mentioned of it.
But since you're from Vermont...3 - 6" isn't all that much, especially with the wicked snow you get up there! :)

i don't understand approximately Eskimos, yet I chortle at us in England! i'm British yet spent some years residing in the States, in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. We used to stand up and pass to college at 7am with quite a few toes of snow on the floor, super lakes frozen over thoroughly, and a wind kick back ingredient so chilly that i'm not able to endure to recall it. In Milwaukee we had 3 to 4 toes of frozen good snow on the floor in the early Nineteen Nineties, and it did not shift for months. We moved from the united kingdom in January 1990 and my God, that grow to be a marvel - the area of Chicago we lived in grow to be buried under snow, ice and slush. I used to stay very on the factor of O'Hare airport and that they extremely greater powerful that Stanstead and Luton! one million/2 an inch of snow right here, and all factors of life grind to a halt! i understand situations are lots worse than that on the 2nd, although that is nevertheless ridiculous. That suggested, that is not dazzling. we at the instant are not used to this climate right here, while in the US they have blanket snow for months in the chillier aspects. they have the adventure, the skill and the time to handle it, as a results of undeniable fact that they had no selection. we've not had that to everywhere close to the comparable volume.

As I'm sure you've heard by now, there is a nor'easter hitting us Saturday night and lasting through Sunday. NY and CT will be in on it to because the storm is supposed to come right up the coastline and then spiral in.
Your trip down will be fine, but depending on when you are returning, you might have a wicked time getting home.

Can you people not google this stuff and/or go to the weather channel? Wasting 10 points and allowing the others to gain off it seems absurd. But them I am the Googler so its what I do.
